High decorations of foreign countries

Today long-term merits of the President of Kazakhstan in establishing mutually beneficial and friendly bilateral ties in the field of preservation and strengthening of international security are recognized throughout the world. Evidence of this is a significant number of high state decorations, awarded Nursultan Nazarbayev by the partner-countries of our republic.

So, for his great personal contribution to strengthening friendship and cooperation between the peoples of Russia and Kazakhstan the Head of State awarded the Order of Saint Andrew the Apostle the First-Called.

In recognition of the achievements of Kazakhstan in nuclear disarmament, the President awarded the Grand Cross of the Order of St Michael and St George (United Kingdom).

Also the personal qualities of the Head of State are marked at the international level. In particular, Nursultan Nazarbayev was awarded the Order of Pius (Vatican) "for the skill and talent in governing State".

The conferment of high state decorations shows a significant increase of the personal authority of the President of Kazakhstan on the international arena, as well as the wide recognition of the successes of our country.
